At SAHAN, we are deeply committed to community development, promoting diversity and inclusion, and empowering individuals and communities to reach their full potential.
We’re thrilled to have you and your family join us. Our team of skilled and experienced teachers is here to guide you every step of the way as you learn Somali. All lessons will be held in person and are completely free of charge. Together, we’ll start with the basics, like the Somali alphabet, and gradually move on to simple grammar rules, common phrases, and essential vocabulary. Along the way, we’ll make learning fun and engaging. Let’s embark on this exciting journey to explore the Somali language and culture!
At SAHAN, we provide personalized tutoring for K-12 students, offering a range of academic support options, including 1-on-1 sessions, small group classes, and online learning. Our 1-on-1 tutoring follows the proven Direct Instruction method, ensuring effective and structured learning tailored to each student’s needs.
We are committed to helping students not only meet but exceed their academic goals. Our programs cover essential subjects like reading, writing, math, English, as well as cultural and Islamic studies.
Every student who joins SAHAN—whether in-person or online—receives targeted support designed for both remediation and improvement. After an initial assessment, we match each student with the most suitable mentor for 1-on-1 guidance or place them in small group sessions for collaborative learning.
